There is a statue of former president Julio Roca at the square, where you can see Swiss-inspired architecture. You can of course indulge in a variety of handcrafted treats, and if you want to know more, then the Fenoglio Chocolate Museum is the right place. At the museum, you can learn about the history and production of the sweets of Bariloche.

Continuing along Mitre towards the east you can walk to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Nahuel Huapi. It is a must-visit place of Bariloche with its impressive design and lakeside setting. Bariloche Cathedral is a beautiful example of neo-Gothic architecture located in the heart of town.
