Georgia is located in the Caucasus and is an interesting country on the border between Europe and Asia. The high mountains provide beautiful panoramas, and the country's cities offer culture, architecture and fine museums. Add to that an experience of Georgian cuisine that goes well with the country's wonderful wines.

The old town of Tbilisi is cozy and characterized by crooked streets, narrow alleys, old buildings and so the very elegant balconies that break the facades in some places in the area. Beautiful churches are also here like little pearls along the river Kura that meander through the city. Along the river there are nice parks and promenades, and from the Tbilisi hills you can overlook the area.

The Georgian provincial towns are easily reached from Tbilisi and there are several highlights that should be visited. In the town of Gori, you can learn more about Soviet leader Stalin, who was born here. The coastal city of Batumi is characterized by both a nice atmosphere and modern buildings, which are almost symbols of Georgia in the 21st century.

Mountains and unforgettable monasteries are part of what awaits if you take trips from Tbilisi, for example to Mtshketa, where rivers, mountains and beautiful churches dominate. Georgia's beautiful scenery can also be seen to the north, where the trip to Kazbek is very popular. To the west are the country's beaches and coastal landscapes found.
