Norway Travel Guide

Norway is a country with beautiful coastlines, deep fjords, snow-capped mountains and with the high north as one of Europe's absolute natural gems. There are so many opportunities and sights in the country that also count pleasant cities, towns and villages.

Oslo is king Christian IV's old capital, and you can still see the city's street network from his days in central Oslo. Around here, there are beautiful neighborhoods in modern Oslo as the Norwegian capital, which spreads to the water with, among other things, famous Aker Brygge and the city's recently designed opera house.

Along the Norwegian coast, cities are located on the seafront as pearls on a string. Among the most famous ones are Kristiansand, Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim and Tromsø, all of which are diverse in their history and their surrounding nature.

The Norwegian coast can be explored with the Hurtigruten boats from Bergen around the Northern Cape to Kirkenes on the Russian border. Inland Norway you can experience on road trips, hiking trails, skiing or with the beautifully constructed railway lines between Oslo and Bergen and other Norwegian cities. And you can choose to fly away to the top of Europe at Svalbard.
