Introduction

Poland is one of the great countries of Eastern Europe and it is a country with a rich cultural history. This is clearly seen in the many large and beautiful Polish cities scattered beautifully in the countryside from the Baltic Sea coast in the north to the Tatra Mountains in the south.

The capital of Warsaw is a city where you can enjoy the atmosphere of the old town, where there are narrow streets, cozy squares, museums, churches and much more. Around the center and the royal palace, the modern metropolis is spreading with loads of sights as well.

Krakow, Gdansk, Poznan, Szczecin and Wroclaw are just some of the great Polish cities, all of which offer great sights. Each city has its own character, which tells the cities stories from their Polish and German past.

The Polish province offers beautiful scenery and great variation in landscapes. For example, the Baltic Sea coast beaches and Mazuria's serene lakelands invite for summer holidays, while the ski areas in the Tatra Mountains and the Riesengebirge are beautiful for skiing and winter tourism.
