Introduction

Spain is well situated on the Iberian Peninsula between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. The country has a varied nature ranging from dry, warm areas to countryside with more rainfall - all with a mild climate that attracts many tourists all year round.

The capital of Madrid is the residence city of the Spanish monarch, and the city has been one of Europe's great capitals for centuries. It is highly visible with Madrid's fine royal palaces, large churches, prestigious museums and more which are examples of the constructions following the economic boost of the Spanish Empire in conquest times.

Catalan Barcelona is located on coast of the Mediterranean Sea and some of Spain's countless and fantastic beaches are in the heart of the metropolis. Barcelona is home to Gaudí's works, La Rambla and numerous nice and interesting places, streets, squares and much more.

The Spanish nature is known for its many beautiful beaches and coasts, with cities such as San Sebastian and Malaga. However, there are also hills and mountains that reach the top of the country on the archipelago of Canarias, where the climate is extra mild and sunny all year round.
