The journey to Thailand is a trip to a beautiful country with such great variations in landscape, cities and culture that there is always something new to experience. The Thai beaches and islands attract many tourists, and most would also like to pass by the capital Bangkok or another of the great cities in Thailand.

Bangkok's grand temples and palaces are the most famous sights with the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and Wat Arun at the forefront. These are places that are must sees on a walk through the capital's neighborhoods, and they are truly unforgettable with unique embellishments and with rich details and features in their architechture and history. A boat trip on the river Chao Phraya is also likely on the bucket list.

North of Bangkok you can visit the Royal Summer Palace and the ancient and very impressive former capital of Ayutthaya. Here, the temple ruins are incredibly picturesque in the urban space and in the surrounding landscape. Further north you can visit Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, both of which have temples, metropolitan areas, shopping and other good activities.

To the south, Thailand opens to the sea, and holidays at lovely hotels on beautiful islands are appealing. When you combine it with Thai cuisine and beautiful swimming and diving trips, the south becomes even more unforgettable. The lush nature to the east, west and north in the country also offers good excursion destinations such as the Mekong River and the bridge across the Kwai River.
